About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the JBSA Lackland Chiller Repair at B6330 Graduation federal contract opportunity. The Q&A addresses several key contract details, including warranty terms, tax exemption, bonding requirements, and project specifics. Key points include: the government will consider a one-year warranty but is open to pricing for a five-year warranty option, the project is tax-free, no bid or performance bonds are required, and no preconstruction submittals are needed beyond warranty documentation. The government confirmed that no training is included in the package, and a CE HVAC technician will be onsite during startup. The document references Attachment 4 for the equipment data plate, which provides details about the chiller's brand, serial, and model number.
