About this file

This document contains a set of questions and answers related to a federal contract opportunity for the installation of a metal canopy at Lackland Air Force Base. The key details are:

The contract requires the installation of a metal canopy to connect to an existing canopy. The government provided details on the current canopy materials, stated the project must be completed within 30 business days, and confirmed that engineer-sealed drawings are not required. The government also clarified that the new canopy must tie into the existing concrete slab and will need to be grounded. Contractors are asked to match the color of the existing sheet metal as closely as possible, and the government will clear the proposed construction area of materials. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside contract with a NAICS code of 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
