JBSA Lackland, TX UH 60 Training Simulator
Question 1: Are there specific training modules or scenarios that need to be integrated into the
UH-60 simulator beyond the infil and exfil objectives mentioned?
Government response: Addition of rotor noise, smoke, personnel harness, equipment tie downs, and communications integration for realism and memory motor skills.
Question 2: What level of ongoing technical support is expected post-installation? Are there specific service level agreements (SLAs) that we need to adhere to?
Government response: Warranty and telephone/email support.
Question 3: Could we schedule a site tour to better understand the facility layout and logistical requirements for delivery and installation?
Government response: Yes, it’s an open field. If a post award site visit is necessary it can be scheduled at that time.
Question 4: What is the process for obtaining security clearances for our installation team, and is there a specific timeline we need to follow?
Government response: All work/deliver will happen between 8AM to 4PM Monday thru Friday, except holidays. No security clearance is required, however after award any base passes will need to be submitted to MSgt Fautz 353 SWTS.
Question 5: Are there any additional environmental compliance standards or guidelines we need to be aware of for debris removal and disposal?
Government response: Any waste generated will need to be removed from the installation and properly disposed.
