Sheet1
| Please confirm the dimensions of the Associate office is stated to be 4’ x 9’. Seems very small. Is this correct? | 14' x 9'? It sounds like there may be a 1 missing. |
| Please describe with an itemized listing of the furniture and/or provide digital photos that illustrate the scope of the furniture removal in each area where furniture removal is required. | The pictures of the rooms that was sent over have all of the furniture that will need to be removed. It will be all of the tables, desks, and chairs. The podiums, electronics, appliances, and misc. items will stay. |
| Please elaborate and/or describe the distance it is from the building where we are required to take the used furniture as described in the SoW: The contractor shall remove all old furniture and place in an onsite Government provided roll-off dumpster. Only removed old furniture shall be placed in roll-off dumpster. Furniture placed in roll-off dumpster must not protrude past top lip of dumpster. Specifically, is the dumpster going to be located near the building in the parking lot or will we be required to transport the furniture to another location on base and where is this located? | More than likely it'll be positioned in the roadway in front of the building, so anywhere between 30' - 50'. |
| Do you anticipate one dumpster being large enough for all the old furniture and if not, how long does it take to have the dumpster emptied? | One large roll-off dumpster should be enough. |
| Is there a consolidation point inside the building where we can unload the furniture inside before taking it to the specific designated location? | If the contractors are able to get their vehicle over a small curb, they can access the side ramp which leads to the "heritage hall" which has space to consolidate furniture/boxes. |
| Please confirm the building is available for the installation the last two weeks in September. | Working on getting confirmation on the class dates. |
| Are there dumpsters or bins for the removal of the furniture? Or are we to get a disposal truck to do it? | The bins were for the furniture removal/disposal. A truck would also work. |
| SOW states Contractor is responsible to remove floor power/electrical in classrooms (#149, #159, #160, & #164) May we request photos of what this power looks like now to understand this scope of work better? If it’s core power (built into the cement floor) vs running extension cords? | (See Atachement 6) The power is ran over the top of the cement floor and carpet. Screws hold it in place. It is hardwired into the wall. |
