1 When making exterior penetrations through walls is high grade silicone acceptable to prevent outdoor air migration?

Statement of Work - 4.14.1 Yes in conjunction with Firestop chaulk on the interior.

2 Please confirm the number of monitors needed. During the site visit, it was mentioned that dual monitors will be needed at the work station, but I don't see those listed in the scope of work.

3 What size monitors are needed at the workstation? Statement of Work - 2.3 & 6 19 inch and 24 for multi-camera display. Statement of Work - 2.3 & 6

4 The SOW states that "cameras installed shall have their own electrical power supply connected to the existing emergency generator panel". Are all existing outlets already connected to the emergency generator panel or will we be responsible for making a direct connection from each camera to the emergency generator panel?

Statement of Work - 4.5 An inquiry was made and the facility does not have an emergency generator.

Removed emergency generator to say electrical panel per floor-some are already connected but new one's will need to be connected.

5 The Statement of Work says that the cameras should be controllable from the workstation in the security room and the officer workstation located in the main work area. During the site visit, only one area to control the cameras was mentioned, and it was in the office to the right of the main entrance with a red square on the floorplan to denote the workstation placement. Please confirm if two areas to control the cameras are actually needed. If so, please share the specific location of the second area and the requirements for the second area?

6 Will the vendor be responsible for installing any electrical outlets? Statement of Work - 4.11& 4.17 No. Electrical outlets have already installed or will in the future.

7 Are there any specific requirements for lightning and surge protection? Statement of Work - 4.6 There is lighting on all exterior doors and cameras should have IR capabilities.

Government will provide surge protection.

8 Do cable runs have to be in EMT conduit or can we use cable raceway? Statement of Work - 2.3 EMT is required for perimeter penetrations. Interior cable management can be discussed further with government IT personnel upon future site visit/contract award.

Statement of Work - 2.3 Vendor has previous knowledge of the cable raceway as others do not. Government will need to see if it is possible to add wiring to existing cable raceway.

9 Where will all network cables be terminated? Statement of Work - - Appendix A In the security office and devices. Statement of Work 4.18

10 Will cables be terminated in a network cabinet, patch panel, or wall mounted patch panel? Will it be provided by the client or the vendor?

Statement of Work - Appendix A Cables can be terminated in a wall mounted or desktop cabinet/patch panel;

11 Where will you like the NVR mounted? Will a monitor, keyboard, and mouse need to accompany the NVR?

Statement of Work - Appendix A NVR will be located on the desk or similar work surface.

12 Please define the remote monitoring requirements. During the site visit, it was noted that no one outside the facility will need to view or control the cameras. Will authorized personnel offsite need access to the camera views?

Statement of Work - 4.7 This system will be exclusively closed, not connected to any kind of network. No one offsite will have access to the camera views.

13 Regarding NVR configuration, how many recording days/hours would the client like to retain before the 1st day/hours are overwritten?

Statement of Work - 4.18 Recommendations have been a 10-12TB min.

15 Please define what would be considered an emergency vs a non-emergency warranty support situation?

Statement of Work - 18 Example for non-emergency - camera failure. Example of emergency - system failure.

16 Will the monitor in the main viewing office be wall mounted? No. See diagram square in red Statement of Work Appendix A 17 Are there currently existing electrical outlets at every required monitor location?

Yes. Additional outlet will be addressed by the Government

18 Approximately where in the main viewing office will the NVR & monitor be located same as #16 NVR will be located on the desk or similar work surface.

19 Is it permissible to have the new NVR reside in a wall-mounted open rack in the main viewing office, or is it required to be located on existing furniture/shelf?

20 Are Turret cameras (inside and out) acceptable in place of dome cameras? They are the same shape, but offer more flexibility and clarity.

Yes, prefereable. Statement of Work 6 says or comparable item

21 On the door cameras with the spot monitors, will 2 megapixel (2 MP) cameras be acceptable?

Yes. 2 MP can be used for the entire project.

22 You have requested PoE cameras but there’s a specification that says that “cameras installed shall have their own electrical power supply…”.

Are we going to be powering any cameras with local power, or will all cameras be powered using PoE only?

Request PoE cameras as written.

Electical power is solely for monitors.

23 Are we pulling power to all workstation locations? How far is the nearest 110V junction box from the workstations.

Power is available in the office within 5 feet.

Yes, surge protectors for exterior cameras.

25 There was mention that at times there are meetings which necessitate work stoppage. How many hours of work stoppage can we expect in a week?

The reference to work stoppage was probably related to customer's co-workers

vs. installers. Customer expects installation to take 2 - 3 business days, pending work crew staffing.

26 What version of OS is running on the workstation in security room and the officer workstation located in the main work area?

Window 10. Software should be able to operate on Windows 10 and 11.

Otherwise further discussion is required.
