B2250 Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, Texas Site Visit Questions & Answers
1. How can we obtain a copy of the lead survey?
Attached: JBSA LBP Containing Materials Inventory Report
2. Where are the quantities listed; we cannot locate them in the SOW?
Attached: JBSF-2250–1, JBSF-2250–2, JBSF-2250–3
3. On the second level, the green areas and white soffit appear to have already been abated and/or encapsulated. Please clarify if these areas are included in the SOW.
The SOW covers the entire building.
4. Are there building measurements available?
Facility Height- 42’ Facility Length- 146’ Facility Width- 55’
14,478 SF
5. Are any areas on top of the roof to be abated? If so, does this include any metal components (specifically which ones)?
Nothing on the roof. Gable ends of the Roofs, Soffit, Fascia, and Porch Ceilings.
6. Would it be possible to abate one side of the building at a time and personnel to use only one entrance on the opposite side of the building during each abatement?
Yes, that way the building is still operational. Signs will need to be put in place of all exit doors to the abated areas working before work begins. So no personnel use the doors. If doors can be blocked some way from the inside it be best.
