GOVERNMENT ANSWERS w/Reference
Answer: The performance on this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). It is the Contractor’s responsibility to be in compliance with this Wage Determination as applicable. Per the DOL Wage Determination 2015-5253, see the Note: Under Executive Order (EO) 13658 an hourly minimum wage of $10.95 for calendar year 2021 applies to all contracts subject to the Service Contract Act for which the contract is awarded (and any solicitation was issued) on or after January 1 2015. If this contract is covered by the EO the contractor must pay all workers in any classification listed on this wage determination at least $10.95 per hour (or the applicable wage rate listed on this wage determination if it is higher) for all hours spent performing on the contract in calendar year 2021.
Under the 16030 Counter Attendant of the WD, it states the minimum wage is: $9.71/hr, which is lower than the wage of $10.95/hr. As per the note above on the first page of the DOL WD, as stated, “ ...If this contract is covered by the EO the contractor must pay all workers in any classification listed on this wage determination at least $10.95 per hour (or the applicable wage rate listed on this wage determination if it is higher) for all hours spent performing on the contract in calendar year 2021”.
In addition, All Occupations receive the following benefits: HEALTH & WELFARE: $4.54 per hour up to 40 hours per week or $181.60 per week or $786.93 per month*
