QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: Cut off date for contractor questions is 2:00 pm CDT, May 18, 2018. Questions 1 - 10

Question 1: Is there a preference to have gender entrance opposite each side for entry/exit of trailers?

Government Response: If doors are on the length of the trailer (per the submitted diagram), customer recommends having doors open outwards away from each other (hinges are on inside of each door, closest to each other). The intent was to have the doors and stairway on the length of the trailer, in order to maximize the changing space that is separate from the showers.

Question 2: Is there a preference to have secondary water source tank for fresh water storage? If so, what are the specs? Per the standard equipment requirement listed Grey/Black Combo Waste Tank 1600 gal

Government Response: A secondary tank for fresh water storage is not required, as the trailers will be connected to the building water supply. The waste tank will either be directly connected to the sewer line or the trailers

Question 3: Will they need the trailers before September?

Government Response: Trailers are desired as soon as possible, as summer is the prime season f/exposure to high temperatures. The lack of an effective changing room or showers is a constant impact on welfare and morale of personnel. The initial intended date of receipt was NLT 30 May 18. Based on the current timelines, delivery is desired immediately upon completion and certification of construction to specifications.
