2. What type of hardware is currently on the door? (Brand/Item #)
a. Brand and item number are unknown. Please see attached pictures for visual reference.
3. In the statement of work, it says that the hole pattern has to match with the new hardware install. We need to know the hole pattern on the door so that we don't have to create new holes. In the event that we remove the existing hardware and the holes are too big because of wear/tear, are we given the ok to patch/ repair the doors? These are fire rated doors I would assume?
a. Yes, it will be fine to patch/repairs holes as long as the same fire rated material is used to repair. Yes, they are fire rated doors.
4. Will we be including the hardware or will it be provided for us?
a. Hardware will not be provided.
5. Do we need to do wiring for the exterior doors?
a. There is wiring in place for the current system used on the exterior doors. If the contractor needs more/different wiring, they will be responsible to provide and input it.
6. What access control platform is the building currently on?
a. Refer to question #1

a. Offline
8. If required to be used in an online capacity, what security parameters will we need to conform to?

12. Please confirm that all existing doors to receive new locksets are hollow metal with existing hardware matching that of the 1st floor doors inspected during the site visit.
a. Yes, all existing doors are hollow metal. All interior doors match the hardware of the 1st floor doors.
13. During the site visit, it was mentioned that rooms to receive new hardware would remain occupied during construction and that new hardware would be required to be replaced and fully operable same day. This would likely require front-end software setup, training and key cards to be provided to gov’t prior to hardware replacement commencing. Please confirm this is the expectation.
a. Yes. That is the expectation.
14. The RFP states working hours are from 8am to 4pm. With rooms being occupied by possibly sleeping tenants, will the start times vary and need to be scheduled for each individual room or can gov’t confirm all spaces will be accessible between 8am and 4pm each day?
a. The tenants all have the same schedule and will not be in their rooms between the hours mentioned. All spaces will be available during that time.
15. Will the number of spaces accessible per day be limited in any way?
a. No, as long as the rooms can be secured after hours.
16. Will work outside of normal working hours be permitted?
a. No
