About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines requirements for a Video Surveillance System (VSS) upgrade at Air Force dormitories at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. The project requires acquiring and installing a new wired IP VSS including 54 cameras (40 replacement and 14 new), with minimum specifications of 20x zoom and 6MP resolution. The system must operate on a standalone network and include monitoring equipment, servers, storage for 6 months of recordings, battery backup, and all necessary licenses and software.

The contractor must maintain the existing system while installing the new one, with downtime not exceeding 48 hours at a time. Key technical requirements include Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras, audio capabilities, support for 30 user accounts, and the ability to view 6 cameras simultaneously from a single monitoring station. Installation locations include corridors, lobbies, rooms, stairwells, and exterior positions with specific coverage ranges (40'-200'). The contractor must provide on-site training for 5 attendees during normal duty hours (0800-1700 Monday-Friday), a minimum one-year warranty, and deliver an as-built wiring diagram in PDF or VISIO format. Work will be performed at 8478 6th Armored Cav Road, Fort Meade, MD 20755.
