About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to a solicitation for fire alarm system replacement services at Dolan Hall on Keesler Air Force Base. The solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside between $500,000 and $1,000,000. An organized site visit will be held on March 15, 2022 at 10:00 am CST, requiring valid identification and vehicle documentation to enter the base. The work includes core drilling corridor and penthouse walls, which can be done during normal work hours, and allowing the contractor to work a 10-hour, 4-day schedule. Existing conduit and 120V circuits powering the current system can be reused, but the existing panels must be located in Room 150, not Room 114 as previously stated. While a NICET Level IV certification is the highest for fire alarm systems, a fire protection engineer is required rather than NICET for this project.
