Q5. Moving the existing equipment will require down-time. Will the government allow this work during low-traffic times (off-duty hours) such as nights or weekends?

ANSWER: Prefer normal duty hours, M-F, 0730 – 1630. Currently, the traffic is low due to teleworking guidance.

Q6. Will the contractor dismantle and reassemble the existing rack, or install a new rack?

ANSWER: Either way is acceptable, just need to minimize downtime.

ANSWER: Reuse the same lock boxes. New boxes need to be installed on the second floor.

ANSWER: Will reuse the same MPOE from 3rd floor to room 204.

Q10. Will the contractor be responsible for extending the cables for the access control system?

ANSWER: Yes, the current card access pad and system need to be relocated. Recommend contacting Condortech Services Inc. for support.

The face plates for the “quad” boxes should contain two each 6-strand for 4 MTRJ connections. Currently, the faceplates are 1 or 2 fiber (MTRJ) connections.
