About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) log for a federal contract opportunity to paint two Piper Warrior Aircraft located at Hanscom Air Force Base. The RFI contains two specific questions from a potential contractor: first, a request for the missing reference pictures of the desired paint scheme, and second, a clarification about transportation costs for the pilot delivering the aircraft. The government responded that the transportation cost was already included in the Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE) for the paint job.
The accompanying images show two Piper Warrior Aircraft (tail number N8092H) inside what appears to be an aircraft hangar with various flags hanging from the ceiling. The aircraft have a distinctive paint scheme featuring white, red, and blue stripes, which likely represents the specific paint scheme referenced in the scope of work. The images provide visual context for the painting requirement and show the aircraft in an indoor maintenance facility.
