Amended Salient Characteristics
1. The Government requests delivery of Ground Penetrating Radar System to Eglin AFB, FL.
Government Points of Contact will be provided after the contract is awarded.
2. The vender shall deliver the Ground Penetrating Radar System to 506 Deleon Street, Eglin Air Force Base, FL 32542. The delivery shall take place 60 days after receipt of award (ARO). Upon delivery, a certified sales representative will be present on site to provide hands on training and set up and operational instruction to Government personnel at no additional cost to the government.
3. The Government is requesting a Ground Penetrating Radar System.
These are the minimal requirements that the Government is willing to accept in order to accept delivery.
1. The Ground Penetrating Radar System must be able to identify underground anomalies. This is a hard requirement, no exceptions.
2. The Ground Penetrating Radar System must have a integral optical survey wheel with cable, tablet mount, removable 15 inches wheels, gimbal mounts and skid plate with straps capable of identifying utilities in some of the toughest terrain; Eglin’s Ranges as an example. This is a hard requirement, no exceptions.
3. The Ground Penetrating Radar System must include rechargeable batteries and charger to operate in remote locations. This is a hard requirement, no exceptions.
4. The Ground Penetrating Radar System must include a software system included to support the radar. This a hard requirement, no exceptions.
5. The Ground Penetrating Radar System must include a 2-year warranty. This a hard requirement, no exceptions.
6. The Intelligent Ground penetrating radar optimized for locating and Mapping Utilities should provide high quality, ruggedized and precise GPR equipment. Field Equipment needs to be easy to transport, quick to set up, with the right functionality to efficiently get the job done.
GPR needs to be light and easy to use, but also extremely rugged and capable of traversing the toughest terrain. Must include a IP68 – Water and dustproof, shock resistant tablet style viewing screen.
