MOBILE TEST TRAILER TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT (TRD)

QUESTIONS

1) Reference TRD 1 - Overall height of trailer 13 foot 6 inch?

Answer: DOT 13 foot 6 inch

2) Reference TRD 2 - Is there a minimum requirement for pop out interior dimensions?

Height, depth, width? TRD just states “determine feasible sizes”. Lab “B” different than Lab “A”.

Answer: No minimum. Goal in TRD is maximum workable space

3) Reference TRD 3 - Sizes of pop outs and sizes of “equipment/material in that area” will determine if there is a conflict when pop out rooms are stored.

Answer: Correct. Government will populate usable space with equipment/materials and when stored equipment will not conflict

4) Reference TRD 4 - I believe this just relates to construction but we may need to review.

Answer: Relates to construction

5) Reference TRD 9 – Desired GVW will determine axle quantity and spread vs tandem.

Answer: Correct determined by vendor for GVWR related to size/design of the unit

6) Reference TRD 11 – Qty/locations of hardware secure points @ floor/walls.

Answer: Vendor determine maximum number secure points/locations based on design, secure points to secure materials within space within the trailer

7) Reference TRD 14 – Desired quantity interior LED lighting?

Answer: Vendor determined quantity to allow technicians throughout the interior to read documents/schematics, etc.

8) Reference TRD 23 – What size doors?

Answer: Reference #67 and #91 door size specified 40 inch is minimum TRD requirement

9) Reference TRD 29 – Desired sizes of each room? Minimum interior height/length?

Answer: Space size determined by vendor. Maximum allowable space as described TRD

29. Lab A is largest area.

10) Reference TRD 30 – Sizes of work tables?

Answer: Determined by vendor design per area for maximum allowable space

11) Reference TRD 34 – Specifications on equipment they desire for this? Power conditioner?

Answer: Vendor determined IAW #34 TRD. See # 39

12) Reference TRD 39 – Assuming this refers/related to number 34?

Answer: Correct. An acceptable Powertran style is provided in TRD or equal

13) Reference TRD 40 – What voltage, amp capacity and phase of wall outlets?

Answer: Three phase located on each wall as identified for Lab A, B and Utility Room (on interior of exterior wall). Plan is for materials used inside the lab which require plug in to 3 phase power to be plugged into “these” receptacles. Receptacle configuration locking, 120/208 VAC, five wire, four pole NEMA

14) Reference TRD 51 – Will have to research this. Two BARD units cannot be operated by

(3) thermostats.

Answer: Goal is to have the maximum amount temperature control per area allowable by HVAC

15) Reference TRD 52 – What is the desired percent humidity range?

Answer: 45 to 55 percent

16) Reference TRD 71 – Refer to TRD Reference 29 above Answer: Correct #71 is Lab A with desired occupancy of 16 people as referenced in #29 as largest area

17) Reference TRD 75 – Minimum quantity of outlets? Required amps/volts?

Answer: Goal is to have maximum allowed amount power connections to circuitry.

Standard electrical wall outlets (120V)

18) Reference TRD 81 – Quantity of speakers?

Answer: Vendor determined

19) Reference TRD 89 – Quantity of network connections?

Answer: Each workstation requires network connection/outlet

20) Reference TRD 92 – Basically talking about a dedicated security lock like card reader or combination style?

Answer: No card reader required
