MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Pre-Proposal Site Visit Minutes
1. The following discussions occurred at the site visit held on 24 February 2020:
- Will remove the survival kits from the PWS, see revised PWS dated 02 March 2020.
- Have BA22s, transitioning to BA30s.
- 96 OSS supports F-15s, F-16s, UH-1, UH-11(139s), HH-60W, CV-22, A-10s and C-130s.
- No date on when F-35s will be supported
- Only contractors in the shop, the military are temporary from Tyndall AFB
- There are approximately 11 toolboxes, color coded by item they repair.
- The tools will transfer to the new Awardee.
- Contractor installs drogue parachute in the seat and the Egress shop installs the chute in the plane.
- Incumbent uses QC Augmentees since they found it cannot be done with only 2 people. All PAE employees are 7 Level.
- AFERMS is used to track property, use local IDS. Have the option to scan, but do not use since system is growing.
- Oxygen and CO2 cylinders are exchanged and filled at the Environmental office.
- Use LRU-16/P (one man life raft).
- There is 1 flammable locker.
- Explosive locker: Gov’t pick-up/turn-in…Ktr stores until ready for use
