22 AUG 2019
Q1 - Does Section 1.0 - item a. intend to describe a traditional Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) design with an inflatable sponson for additional stability? SOR Reference Section 1.0 - item a. The sponson is foam filled or foam filled with air bladder design. Deep V/ RIB hull design from a centerline chine most capable for the combination of stability and speed we need to achieve coupled with the type of sea state durations that are prevalent verses other chine designs such as a two or three hull.
