STATEMENT OF WORK

50th Security Forces Squadron Schriever Space Force Base, CO

Explosive Detective Equipment

7 May 2024

1. SCOPE

1.1. Introduction. This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the requirements for a purchase of Explosive Detective Equipment that will be used to detect and identify explosives and narcotics.

2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

2.1. Department of Defense Specifications.

This system will be utilized to meet DoD requirements for installation access for commercial and large vehicles.

3. REQUIREMENTS

The work required by this contract shall be performed in accordance with this SOW. The 50th Security Forces Squadron (50 SFS) requires explosive detective equipment that contains a highly sensitive trace detector, in a lightweight, portable desktop configuration. 50 SFS would require that the system is delivered by the same company to manage install, training and warranty.

3.1. Required tasks.

3.1.1. Deliver all associated equipment for the explosive detective equipment and provide the required maintenance in accordance with warranty.

3.1.2. Customer Service Hours. The contractor shall provide customer service during normal duty hours, 0700-1600 hours, Monday through Friday; except for federal holidays.

Recognized US Federal Holidays are as follows: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed on Friday. If the holiday falls on Sunday, it is observed on Monday.

4. DELIVERY ADDRESS

4.2. Installation access procedures: Vehicle registration, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license shall be presented to gain base access. Any personnel needing access to Schriever Space Force Base and/or any Restricted Areas will meet and maintain security requirements as outlined by installation policy.

All commercial trucks must enter through the North Gate, for inspection. In accordance with the Installation security; base entry procedures must adhere to delivery vehicle process requirements mandated by Peterson-Schriever Garrison. The driver must be able to show:

- A current Vehicle Registration

- A current Proof of Insurance

- A valid and current Driver's License for the driver

- A valid and current Driver's License or other State Identification for any passenger(s) in the vehicle.

4.3. Gate Procedures: Once at the North Gate, be prepared to exit the vehicle and allow for vehicle inspection. At this time, you may ask for directions to your final destination.

- Arrival at the appropriate gate after the designated allotted time will result in non-admittance to the installation.

- This procedure will occur each time a commercial truck requests access to the base.
