About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a project for restriping speed humps and crosswalks across multiple locations at Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB) in Colorado. The contractor will be responsible for providing new striping and signage for 12 different crosswalk locations, including installing crosswalk markings, stop bars, and appropriate signage in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The work includes both new striping for locations without current markings and restriping for excessively worn crosswalks.
Key project requirements include using low-temperature acrylic waterborne paint for parking space striping, epoxy paint for handicap markings, and adhering to various federal and state standards including the Americans with Disabilities Act, CDOT specifications, and Air Force manuals. The project has a 180-calendar day completion timeline from the Notice to Proceed, with specific requirements for traffic control, stormwater management, hazardous material reporting, and operational security. The project will be managed by Eric Riley from 460 CES/CEOER, with the specific work locations mapped and detailed in the document's attachment, covering areas such as Mississippi Gate Entrance, B1022 Outdoor Recreation, Fire Station, and various other base locations.
