FA252124QB147– 10 Miler Fencing Q and A
1. We have 4X7 barriers. Will the Government accept?
a. See updated SOW
2. I was speaking to a company and was advised they are able to drop off the fencing on Friday, December 13th, but asked if the fencing would be able to stay there until Monday, December 16th since the setup crew does not work weekends?
a. Fencing MUST be removed IAW the SOW due to base operations.
3. With regards on the subject solicitation of this email, may I ask if a 4x7 barricades would work instead of 4x10 barricades?
a. See updated SOW
4. After reviewing the Statement of Work (SOW) for the 3,500 linear feet of fence panel hard barricades, we would like to request clarification. The SOW specifies a requirement for "Fence Panel hard barricades" with approximate dimensions of 4’ x 10’. However, "fence panels" and "hard barricades" are typically two distinct types of products. Could you please confirm if the Government is specifically requesting 4' x 10' fence panels as described, or if hard barricades are also acceptable? Photos or additional descriptions of the desired product would be helpful for clarification.
a. See Updated SOW
5. In addition, we would like to request additional setup time. To ensure a stable and secure installation of the required fencing and to address any potential adjustments or concerns during the process, we propose beginning setup on December 11, 2024, instead of the currently listed start time on December 13, 2024. Would the Government be amenable to this adjustment?
a. No changes to the set-time/date can be accommodated for this requirement.
6. For further reference, the fence panels we have available are 6 feet high by 12 feet wide, typically used for construction sites and events, and connected via Ketel clamps. We also have barricades that are 3.5 feet high by 8 feet wide, often used for crowd control at parades and interconnect together. Please advise if either option is acceptable or if the Government has a preference for one type over the other.
a. See updated SOW for acceptable fencing size
7. Will there be an extension of the due date? We’re cutting it extremely close if we won’t receive responses until tomorrow.
a. The due date has been extended to 28 Oct 2024.
