About this file
This document appears to be a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a federal solicitation related to telecommunications support at Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) in Florida. The key details include:
The solicitation (FA252125QB154) covers Enterprise Support Provider (ESP) services specifically for the MSL-100 system, with remote login through modem access and planned on-site support for 40 hours to assist with translation changes and critical alarm clearing. Tyto will provide Tier 2 support, including repair and return of SL-100 cards, with Ribbon Communication serving as the Tier 3 (OEM) escalation point. The scope is limited to the MSL-100 system, explicitly excluding voicemail, batteries, and transport equipment, which have separate contracts. A clarification was made regarding the solicitation number, confirming FA252125QB154 as the correct identifier, and an additional note confirmed that battery replacement work at JDMTA is not part of this specific contract's scope.

1. The place of performance is listed as Patrick SFB, FL. Our understanding that this support is remote and not on-site, please confirm.
Yes, remote login through modem access. But, it is my understanding we will have someone on-site to provide translations help in the switch to move 99. 98 and 94 access codes to point to the cisco PRI’s.
Follow on question – Tyto can provide on-site support for the translation changes, but would be limited to a specific time frame. Assuming the 40 hours that originally planned for this effort will be required to be on-site and not remote. Please confirm.
YES, on-site as planned with translations and critical alarm clearing.
2. Tyto assumes that this ESP is only for the MSL-100, and no other systems will be covered such as the DC power plant, batteries, transport equipment, and voicemail. Please confirm.
That is correct. Our voicemail system is through Cisco, our batteries have their own contract as does the transport equipment through Cisco.
3. Tyto assumes that Tier 3 (OEM) services are not part of this effort. Please confirm.
If Tyto is not part of this effort, who provides the needed cards we so desperately need?
Follow on question –Tier 3 (OEM) services are through Ribbon Communication and is the escalation point if there is any need for escalation of troubles to the OEM. The Tier 2 support by Tyto includes the repair and return of the associated SL-100 cards, similar to what was provided during the previous efforts under the DAF CTS Contract.
4. Regarding the requirement of the following, our understanding that this is in reference to the Option 11C at JDMTA and is potentially being funded by Cape Canaveral. Please confirm the requirement for this effort as there are 12 batteries that need to be replaced at JDMTA.
- One (1) onsite dispatch is included in this effort to replace the four (4) batteries in the NTAK75 battery box
N/A to PAFB switch.
Follow on question –Based on the response, the applicable bullet from the SOW can be ignored and/or will be removed from further revisions of the SOW. Please confirm.
We do not have anything to do here at PSFB Inside Plant for the Operations and Maintenance of an Option 11C at JDMTA.
5. Additional Question: Page 1 of the solicitation lists the solicitation number as FA252124QB154. Page 2 of the solicitation lists the solicitation number as FA252125QB154.
Would the Government please confirm that the solicitation number is FA252125QB154?
The correct solicitation number is FA252125QB154
