About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding audiovisual services needed for a 10-miler marathon event. The event will require audio setup and technicians at the start and finish lines on race day, December 9th, with setup beginning at 5:00 AM and cleanup concluding by 1:00 PM. Vendors will need to provide their own power via generators, as power is not guaranteed at the event locations. A minimum of two wireless microphones should be available at each location. The Department of the Air Force Space Command solicitation FA252124QB002 seeks an audio vendor to play pre-provided music playlists from the start through finish of the event. Access to the event sites for setup purposes will be allowed after 12:00 PM the day prior.

10 Miler Audio Q & A
1. Will the audio and set up technicians need to be badged for the event?
a. Vendors will not need to be badged, but they will need to be added to the Entry Authorization List. Vendors will send a list with names, DOB, DL #, etc. to the POC on the contract and they clear everyone.
2. Can you advise on the following times:
a. Access to the location for set up.
i. POC to contact for access will be on the final contract.
b. Additionally, are we allowed access to the start/finish location on Friday, 12/8? If yes, what time?
i. Vendors can access the sites the day prior any time after 1200.
3. Please confirm that audio is only needed at the start/finish lines, and not along the race route
a. The set up for audio will be at the start line, and at the finish line. See attached labeled Course Map.
4. How many wireless microphones would you like at each location?
a. We would like 2 microphones at each location guaranteed. If vendors need to bring backups, they should.
5. Race Start/Event Completion
a. Audio will begin set up at 0500 on race morning, race start is at 0725, and cleanup begins at 1300. Vendors will need to be available during those times.
6. Do you have any other power needs as per Generator? We need to know of any additional connections, and pdu’s that are necessary for the event outside of our Audio setup to assure we have proper power.
a. The vendor will be responsible only for the power needs of the items listed on the SOW.
7. Will, you have any Performer/DJ or other Entertainment?
a. There will be no entertainers at this time. If this does change in the future, that vendor will be responsible for their own power needs.
8. How big is the award area?
a. The stage area is approximately 20’x 20’.
9. I see it is inside of a building. Will there be sufficient power in the building to run the award audio?
a. There is no guarantee of power at any point during the event. The vendor needs to provide their own generators.
10. Will the government be providing the music; will the music be played off a playlist or DJ? or do we have to provide these services too?
a. We will provide the playlist, but we will need someone from the contractor to play it.
