Question:
I have reviewed the revised information and the quantities are still in the 12,000 range. How are these numbers being calculated? If the total garments being rented is 414 how does the yearly total equal 12,584? Any insight that could be provided would be greatly appreciated as me and my vendor can review our own calculations.
Answer:
CLIN 0001
Numbers based on current count of 22 employees receiving 11 uniform sets (This accounts for projected military inbounds this year).
484 uniform items = ½ shirt + ½ pant
Divided by 2 = only ½ of uniform items per week per employee will be serviced
242 uniform items weekly to be serviced (may be less based on leaves, deployments, etc.)
X 52 = weeks per year
12,584 = total items serviced per year
CLIN 0002, 0003, 0004
These numbers are estimates (high side) based on past years data, they are variables.
Additional CLINS mirror CLIN 0001 (These can change based on unknown gains and losses).
CLIN 5001 is ½ year
