About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers (Q&A) file dated 23 Sep 2025 for a federal contract involving network infrastructure work at Peterson Space Force Base (SFB). The Q&A addresses three key points: First, 21 CES does not have a Cisco account number, and the designated contractor must use their own Cisco account for the project. Second, the awarded contractor will be responsible for all fiber optic terminations and patching, indicating a comprehensive network installation scope. Third, the document addresses a technical compliance issue with a specific Cisco part number (GLC-GE-100FX), which is not Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant. Cisco has confirmed they do not currently offer a TAA-compliant equivalent, but alternative solutions meeting the same requirements will be acceptable.
