About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a fire alarm upgrade project for Building 122 and Building 1525 at Edwards Air Force Base. The questions and answers provide device counts for smoke detectors, heat detectors, water flows, tampers, pull stations, modules, duct detectors, and horn/strobe units for Building 1525. For Building 122, the response indicates the building is mainly a fire suppression system rather than detection, and will require evaluation by a contractor to bring it up to fire protection code for suppression.
The related federal contract opportunity lists the solicitation number and provides the name and location for the Bldg 122 & 1525 Edwards Fire Alarm Upgrade project being conducted by the Department of the Air Force Space Command.
