QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FROM THE BLDG 1 SITE VISIT

23 January 2020

Question 1: Who is the current contractor?

Answer: Skyway Creations Unlimited, Inc.

Question 2: What is the previous contract number?

Answer: FA2517-18-P-5056

Question 3: What is the current annual dollar amount?

Answer: Please look up the contract number referenced above to the total contract price.

Question 4: How many times a week is the current contractor watering the plants?

Answer: Currently one (1) time per week, with additional visits as required. However, this is a performance based requirement; therefore, you must conform to the requirements outlined in the PWS.

Question 5: The current Grounds contract at Peterson AFB is under Wage Determination # 2015-5417, Revision 13. Does this contract have the same Wage Determination and is there a specific occupation code such as 11090-Gardener that needs to be used for employees?

Answer: Yes, the wage determination 15-5417 will be incorporated in the solicitation and subsequent award. The labor category will be 11090-Gardener.

Question 6: During the site visit, there were approximately 7 or 8 completely dead plants in the beds -normally written into our contracts is a place for plant replacement at the beginning, with the charge to the customer.

Answer: All dead plants will be removed prior to the start of contract performance. Any dead plants that must be removed after the start of performance shall be part of the FFP line items pricing. There are no cost reimbursable CLINs on this commercial Purchase Order.
