SUBJECT: Industry Day, FA2517-09-R-6032, Technical & Advisory Support Services (TA2S)
TA2S Industry Day will be held on Tuesday, 1 June 2010, beginning at 1330 at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Theater located in the Community Center at 5136 Community Center Dr., USAFA, CO. USAFA is an open base and therefore, attendees with a valid driver’s license will be granted access; proof of insurance and registration may be requested.
Subsequent one-on-ones will be hosed at Peterson AFB. You are invited to schedule a one-on-one meeting with the Government team. The goal of the one-on-one meetings is to provide industry the opportunity to discuss requirements and provide input that may not be as clearly articulated in a written response. Another goal of the one-on-one meetings is to solicit input from industry on the DRAFT Request For Proposal (RFP) and acquisition strategy.
The one-on-one meetings will be limited to 45 minutes and will be scheduled during 2 June 2010 through 7 June 2010. Meetings will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please specify the date and time you would like to be scheduled. The following times are available for each of the scheduled days:
Time
0800-0845
0900-0945
1000-1045
1100-1145
1330-1415
1430-1515
1530-1615
1630-1715
This is not a marketing opportunity, but a chance to ask technical questions and provide feedback on the DRAFT RFP. Please submit questions in advance, as we may be unable to answer them during your meeting.
Email TA2S.N-NC@peterson.af.mil to request a meeting and submit questions no later than 1500 MST, 27 May 2010. Provide a POC for your company and a list of attendees. One-on-one meetings will take place on Peterson AFB, CO in Building 350, 2nd floor, Rm 2215B. Please report to the 21CONS Reception Area on the 2nd floor, Suite 2225, until called upon. Contractors are requested to limit attendance to 8 individuals due to space constraints. Your POC will be notified of the date and time of your one-on-one meeting prior to 28 May 2010. No telephone calls please.
Due to base security procedures, attendee names must be submitted to the Contracting Office no later than 1500 MST, 27 May 2010, to ensure base access is approved. The following information is required for each attendee: last name, first name, date of birth OR last name, first name, Driver’s License Number/State of Issue AND Company/Organization Affiliation, Address, Telephone Number and Email address. This includes those attendees who may already have access to the base. Please email the attendee information to the TA2S email address at TA2S.N-NC@peterson.af.mil. No telephone calls please. Conference attendees must show a valid photo identification card, preferably a driver’s license, to verify their identity, and an up-to-date proof of insurance/registration card. Parking is limited and unexpected delays may be encountered entering the base.
The government will continue to post all information concerning the acquisition to FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) as it becomes available, and the government reserves the right to publish any new information disclosed about this acquisition that it believes will be useful to all potential offerors.
NOTE: Information provided during this conference will not qualify the terms and conditions of any resulting Request for Proposal (RFP). The definitive treatment of any problems and/or questions will be handled in the formal RFP.
E-mail submissions are subject to size and type restrictions (typically limited to less than 2 megabyte in size and only non-executable attachments such as .doc or .pdf files) as well as any other appropriate network security measures. It is the respondent’s responsibility to verify the e-mail was received and can be viewed. All responses must address each of the above stated requirements.
Directions: From the South Gate, continue along Stadium Blvd. (Academy Blvd. turns into Stadium Blvd. upon entry to the base). Follow the signs to the Community Center, located on Community Center Dr. The theater is located in the Community Center, enter the quad through the chapel side of the building and make an immediate left to the theater.
