About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Florida Department of Health for COVID Health Equity Media Services. The addendum modifies the scope of services and provides responses to questions received from prospective vendors. The RFP seeks marketing, advertising, production, and media buying services to create a community-wide awareness media campaign to address the effects of COVID-19 and health equity in Miami-Dade County. The services include media buys in areas such as television, radio, outdoor, online, print, and social media, with the vendor responsible for content development and media placement. Responses to the RFP must be submitted by mail, as electronic submissions will not be accepted.
The total budget for this RFP is $3.5 million. There is no incumbent vendor, and the Department will evaluate proposals based on the criteria outlined in the RFP, including the cost proposal. Vendors are prohibited from using subcontractors, though translation services are not considered subcontracting. The Department will provide access to existing materials, but the selected vendor will be responsible for any necessary translations.
