Number Section Para Reference Question Answer

We have the total number of guestrooms, but that doesn’t help with modeling costs on a per property basis. So, what is the specific number of rooms for each property?
NRB Plan spreadsheet provides information in solicitation located at https://www.afnafpo.afsv.net/pages/Doing-Business-with- AFNAFPO/AFNAFPOBusinessOpportunities.aspx under Section 3 HSIA, Telephone, and Cable TV Services (Triple Play), Request for Proposal, Section J - Download Documents

How many buildings are there for each property? (for example: a specific hotel property with 3 detached buildings would be 3 buildings.)

What are the specific brands and models for the TVs at each property? (Note: this is important as directly affects how TV services are delivered to each unit, timelines and costs.)
We do not track this information from AFSVC, it is a property-level task. The majority of TVs are LG Hospitality screens in addition to Phillips screens. If a TV is found to not be compatible with the CATV system being installed, typically just the specific TV is replaced.
Attachement 4c - Telecom Status of Section J provides properties which have “Central Contract Cable TV” This solution is a fully integrated on-property CATV head end utilizing the pro-idiom chipset in the in-room TVs for decryption.

Are the current televisions at each property hospitality-grade TVs… meaing [sic] do they support pro-idiom encryption? (Note: this is important as directly affects how TV services are delivered to each unit, timelines and costs.)
Yes; all in-room TVs are Hospitality screens. There are some TVs in common areas that do not support pro-idiom. For those --and only for those-- a small set top box is acceptable.

Typically on foreign bases there is a requirement to deliver American Forces Network (“AFN”) channels as part of a TV services line-up (mandatory for UH and FH, but not clear on whether same mandate for military lodging). However, there does not appear to be any specifics to AFN in this RFP. So questions are: Are AFN channels required to be in the lineup at Air Force Inn locations on international bases, and if so which of their network channels are required?
Yes, AFN is required at all International locations.
Contractor should propose how they plan to integrate AFN programming into their service offering at OCONUS bases.
