Q & A #2 Sol #F3Q2AD4178A001 – Propane Purchase
Question: In terms of evaluating price how does the Market Index and Milner, Albany and Alma pick up points being provided get figured in?
Answer: Our evaluation will be of the unit price by gallon that is proposed. We are not using any Market Index in terms of evaluating the price. The reference to Milner, Albany and Alma as pick up points is just informational in nature, meant only to identify the closest terminals to Robins AFB. The solicitation says those points are to be considered; not that they have to be used as the basis for quotes.
Question: Clarify what you mean in the paragraph on page 3 of 5 regarding "ensure that your prices are valid for a minimum of 7 days after due date for proposal".
Answer: The intent was to advise that we anticipate making award within 7 calendar days after due date of proposal. If award is not made in that timeframe you will be allowed to revise your price. This is due to the volatile price of propane. We understand that it is difficult for you to hold your price for extended period of time.
