About this file

This is Amendment 0001 to a combined synopsis and solicitation for mold removal and remediation services issued by the 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.

The amendment updates the solicitation suspense date from May 4, 2026 at 12:00 PM CDT to May 12, 2026 at 12:00 PM CDT to allow additional time for mission partners to answer questions and update the Statement of Work. The procurement seeks mold removal and remediation services for Building 856, Rooms 112, 117, and 207 at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) located at Maxwell-Gunter Annex, Alabama. The solicitation number is F2XTRA6077A001, with NAICS code 562910 and a $25 million size standard. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside requiring firm-fixed pricing and open market offers only; GSA schedules and government-wide acquisition contracts are not acceptable. Offerors must submit a detailed remediation plan outlining their technical approach to safe containment and mold removal, documentation of current relevant certifications for all key personnel, and a realistic service start date. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for April 28, 2026 at 10:00 AM CDT at Maxwell Boulevard Gate, with attendee names due by April 24, 2026 at 3:00 PM CDT. All questions must be submitted by April 30, 2026 at 1:30 PM CDT. Offers must include unit and extended prices, representations and certifications, discount terms, tax identification number, CAGE code, and Unique Entity Identifier. Award will be based on technical acceptability (pass/fail evaluation of the remediation plan and personnel certifications) and price, with the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer receiving the award.
