About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for fiber optic upgrade equipment issued by the 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The amendment updates solicitation details and extends the response deadline to June 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM CDT. The procurement (Purchase Request #F2X3B16132AC01) requires TC Communications TC8000 series Fiber Optic Transport and TC3800 series JumboSwitch equipment and associated accessories to support the Maxwell AFB Air Traffic Control Radio Fiber Upgrade Project. This is a 100% small business set-aside, limiting competition to qualified small business vendors only. Quotes must include unit and extended prices, reference exact line numbers from the attached equipment list, and specify all TC Communications part numbers and models as listed. All items must be brand new, not refurbished, with OEM standard commercial warranties provided at no additional cost.
Award will be made to the lowest-priced contractor meeting minimum requirements, with evaluation based on manufacturer/brand compliance and price reasonableness. Offerors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at time of quote submission to be eligible. All quotes must be submitted via email to A1C Gabriel Colon Saldana (gabriel.colon_saldana@us.af.mil, 334-953-5530) and Contracting Officer Jeremy Kersey (jeremy.kersey.1@us.af.mil, 334-953-3526) by the deadline. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to 345 West Selfridge Street, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-5965.
