About this file
This document is a Q&A file containing contractors' questions and official responses for Request for Quote (RFQ) FA481425P0023 regarding a Fire Alarm System Replacement at Building 3742. The key details include specific system component specifications: 7 smoke detectors at approximately 23ft high, 2 pull stations near doorways, 1 power supply, 4 horn strobes, and a currently installed Monaco BT-XF transceiver. The project involves removing the existing non-functional fire alarm panel and replacing it with a new Potter panel using existing wiring and conduit. No engineering or permitting costs are anticipated, and no official drawings or floorplans are available since the site is classified as a non-permanent structure. Additional site-specific details reveal no exterior systems require addressing, no lift is available on-site, and the last inspection report is unavailable/not applicable.
