13. SECURITY GUIDANCE. The security classification guidance needed for this classified effort is identified below. If any difficulty is encountered in applying this guidance or if any other contributing factor indicates a need for changes in this guidance, the contractor is authorized and encouraged to provide recommended changes; to challenge the guidance or the classification assigned to any information or material furnished or generated under this contract; and to submit any questions for interpretation of this guidance to the official identified below. Pending final decision, the information involved shall be handled and protected at the highest level of classification assigned or recommended. (Fill in as appropriate for the classified effort. | guidance: Classified Information will be protected using the policy and guidance established in the DoD 5220.22-M,the National Industrial Security Program Operation manual (NISPOM), 2006. The contractor's employees requiring access to classified information shall |
be US Citizens and have been granted a security clearance, at the appropriate level, issued by Defense Industrial Security Clearance
1. This is a service contract only.
2. The contractor shall implement procedures whereby any loss, compromise of classified information or material and loss of unclassified material issued under this contract shall be promptly reported to the Cognizant Security Office.
3. Only persons actually performing classified tasks on this contract shall be cleared to the appropriated level in accordance with the NISPOM.
4. FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY (FOUO) material shall be protected in accordance with DoD 5400.7-R. DoD Freedom of Information Act Program, September 1998.
