About this file
This document is an Exhibit O Department of Veterans Affairs Provision Addendum that provides an alternative protest procedure for real property lease procurements. It allows interested parties to file a protest directly with the Executive Director, Office of Construction and Facilities Management at the Department of Veterans Affairs, rather than with the Lease Contracting Officer, as an alternative to the standard protest process. The provision specifies that the protest will not be considered if the interested party has a pending protest on the same or similar issues with the Lease Contracting Officer.
The related federal contract opportunity is for a lease procurement by the Department of Veterans Affairs for a new or relocated Veterans Readjustment Counsel Service Center in Melbourne, Florida. The solicitation seeks between 4,740 and 4,989 square feet of contiguous, first-floor medical space with 20 surface parking spaces, including 8 ADA spaces. The full lease term is 20 years, with a 5-year firm term. Offers are due by August 21, 2024, and the estimated occupancy date is October 1, 2025. The Lease Contracting Officer is Sibyl Graham.
