About this file
This is an Exhibit N form from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) addressing confidential or proprietary information disclosure requirements under the Texas Public Information Act (PIA). The document outlines the procedures respondents must follow when submitting proposals that contain sensitive information. Respondents are required to select one of three options: marking their entire proposal as containing confidential or proprietary information with clear identification of protected sections, submitting both an original marked proposal and a separate public version, or certifying that their proposal contains no confidential or proprietary information. The document emphasizes that blanket assertions of confidentiality may result in adverse rulings from the Office of the Texas Attorney General.
The exhibit requires authorized company representatives to sign and date their selection, confirming their understanding of PIA requirements and their chosen submission method. This form must be submitted as part of all proposal responses to the Texas Department of Agriculture. The document serves as documentation that respondents have been notified of their obligations regarding information protection and public disclosure procedures under Texas law.
