About this file
Exhibit I is a consent request form from the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities for Contract #07-WS2025, associated with a maintenance and repair contract for cranes in the City of Newark, New Jersey. The document outlines a standard procedural form that allows the contracting unit to hold a bid proposal for consideration beyond the initial 60-day evaluation period, with bidders providing consent for potential extended review timelines. The form is designed to be completed by an authorized vendor representative, permitting the city to continue evaluating bids even if the initial award period expires.
The document does not provide specific pricing, funding details, or contract value information. It is a procedural exhibit that gives the City of Newark flexibility in its bidding process, allowing for potential delays in contract award while maintaining the validity of submitted bid proposals. The form references New Jersey State Statute N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24, which governs municipal contracting procedures, and was last revised on 7/13/04. Bidders would complete this form to acknowledge and consent to the potential extended bid consideration period for the crane maintenance and repair contract.
