About this file
Exhibit C is a Price Proposal document from Seminole County's Solid Waste Management Division for the Collection, Transport, and Disposal of Automotive Fluids. The proposal covers services for collecting, transporting, and processing various automotive waste fluids including used motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze, oily water/sludges, contaminated absorbent materials, spent solvents, and unwanted gasoline from county facilities such as Fleet Maintenance, Water and Wastewater Treatment plants, Fleet and Facilities Division, and the Sheriff's Office, as well as self-service collection centers for county residents.
The pricing document is structured into three sections (A, B, and C) with different pricing approaches: Section A is revenue generating where bidders submit costs to the county, Section B covers no-charge services, and Section C allows bidders to propose pricing at a profit or no charge. The rate schedule specifies that all pricing must include container costs, packaging materials, labels, disposal, and transportation charges, with no additional fees or surcharges allowed. Contractors must ensure all drums and containers meet Department of Transportation shipping requirements and are free from defects that could cause leaking, with provisions for providing over-pack containers at no additional cost if needed.
