About this file
This document is Exhibit B: Example Work Order Fee Schedule for Pinellas County, detailing a fee structure for aquatic plant removal services. The fee schedule provides a comprehensive pricing template for contractors to complete aquatic vegetation management work, with specific line items for equipment mobilization, aquatic plant removal across multiple site areas, vegetation disposal methods, and equipment demobilization. The document allows for pricing flexibility by enabling contractors to specify costs per acre, disposal method, and total project expenses.
The pricing structure includes important cost parameters, such as mobilization and demobilization costs that cannot exceed 5% of the total quote price. The disposal section offers three options: onsite disposal, offsite disposal with mileage calculations, and offsite disposal with tipping fees. The county will only pay for actual mileage and tipping fees accrued during the project, with final change orders reconciling estimated versus actual values. Additionally, the document notes that Pinellas County is not required to pay federal or state sales taxes on services, goods, or equipment, and the quoted prices must include all necessary items to complete the project.
