About this file
The document is a technical specifications file for the City of Holly Hill's Riverside Park Bulkhead Repair project, detailing a comprehensive infrastructure repair and replacement initiative. The project involves replacing approximately 200 linear feet of bulkhead at Riverside Park, located at 231 Riverside Drive in Holly Hill, Florida. The technical specifications outline 13 discrete work items including mobilization, environmental protection, demolition, concrete cap installation, composite sheet pile installation, helical anchor system implementation, flowable fill placement, rock revetment, brick paver restoration, concrete ribbon curb construction, and railing relocation/installation. The specifications provide exhaustive details on material requirements, installation procedures, testing protocols, and performance expectations for each work item.
The contract will be awarded on a line-item basis with specific payment terms for each work item, ranging from lump sum payments to per-unit measurements like cubic yard, linear foot, ton, and each. Payment schedules typically involve staged payments, with portions released upon initial mobilization, milestone completions, and final project acceptance. The technical specifications emphasize rigorous quality control, requiring contractors to submit detailed shop drawings, material certifications, and testing reports for engineer approval before and during construction. Materials specifications are precise, including requirements for concrete mixes, rock composition, reinforcement specifications, and environmental compliance measures. The project appears to be funded by local municipal resources, with a strong emphasis on maintaining environmental standards and preserving existing park infrastructure during the renovation process.
