About this file

This document contains a solicitation for research and development services in support of the Precise Antennas Narrow-beam Transmitting Highly Energized Radiation (PANTHER) program. The Naval Research Laboratory requires the contractor to refine and implement signal generation techniques across the radio frequency spectrum employing high levels of power. This includes continuing research on signal generation techniques with various signal parameters such as pulse-widths, pulse repetition intervals, and effective isotropic radiated powers. The contractor shall also research, design, develop, and modify associated software and hardware to generate efficient signals for use with Navy space and airborne assets. Offerors must submit any questions in response to this request for proposal by September 1, 2021, with proposals due no later than October 8, 2021. The opportunity is set aside for small businesses and will continue the prototyped development from a previous contract to refine atmospheric research and spacecraft/aircraft calibration capabilities.
