Building Population Estimates:

This cafeteria operated prior to the COVID-19 event, for the benefit of an average of approximately 1200 building occupants. In addition, the building had an average of approximately 1600 visitors during the day that attended short seminars, on-site meetings and other functions. These visitors have access to the cafeterias but may not necessarily “overlap” the breakfast or lunch period. The building is open to Government employees that have a valid ID and screened visitors.

In the pre-COVID-19 period, the Agency estimates that a fluctuating percentage of the federal employees listed above Telework a minimum of one day each week, and that a percentage of the federal employees listed above work an alternate work schedule (AWS). AWS provides employees one day off (typically a Monday or Friday) every two weeks.

Current June 2023 combined average daily building occupant and visitors number: 725-1200.

This combined figure was 1200 in June 2022. There is a higher frequency of telework and AWS days falling on Mondays and Fridays.

Government shall not be held responsible for any variation from this employee population figure since the extent of occupancy is not guaranteed. These levels are subject to change and vary according to Agency protocols, national pandemic events and other unforeseen occurrences.
