The project requires installation of approximately 257 LF of 7' tall Ameristar Impasse II Gauntlet Style security fence (or approved equal), one 24 LF cantilever security gate, two 8' single swing man gates, and 545 LF of 6' tall galvanized chain link fence with barbed wire. The project includes access controls compatible with existing AIPHONE systems, dual height gooseneck stands with access control pads and cameras, and a Hy Security SlideDriver 15 gate operator. A mandatory site visit is required for all bidders.
The scope includes a detailed aerial site plan showing the fence layout, with color-coded sections indicating chainlink fencing (yellow), ornamental fencing (blue), and communications/data lines (purple). The site plan specifies that a fire hydrant must remain in the fence line and an insulated cabinet must stay outside the fence line. Contractors must verify all measurements and underground utilities before digging, and account for any necessary elevation changes in their bids. All equipment specifications must be submitted with the bid, including documentation for any proposed alternatives to the specified Ameristar products.
