About this file
This document outlines evaluation criteria for a solicitation seeking facilities warehouse and installation services for the Palo Alto VA Medical Center. There are three evaluation factors: technical warehouse management and product movement capabilities, past performance on similar contracts, and involvement of Service-Disabled Veteran or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses as either the prime contractor or subcontractors.
Under the technical factor, offerors will be evaluated on their warehouse management software and lean processes, operating procedures for receiving, storage, and product delivery, as well as proposed best practices for security, transportation, and installation services across the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System network. Staffing capabilities, qualifications, and experience will also be considered. The related federal contract opportunity provides additional details, seeking furniture installation, inventory management, warehousing, and other facilities support services for the VA Palo Alto Medical Center for a one-year base period of performance starting in March 2022.
