About this file

This document is an Addendum to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Huntsville Parks Department Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update project in Texas. The City of Huntsville is soliciting qualified consultants to update the city's parks and recreation plan. The addendum provides answers to questions from prospective respondents, including the project budget of $65,000, the availability of city staff to assist with survey distribution and event marketing, and clarification on project references and submittal requirements. The RFQ is open to consultants with relevant experience completed within the past 5 years, and the City will select a consultant to develop a comprehensive parks and recreation master plan update for the City of Huntsville and Walker County.

The addendum confirms that the City will provide staff support for public outreach and engagement events, and the consultant will be required to submit a digital copy of their proposal along with work samples. Respondents are instructed to include a signed copy of the addendum with their submittal, and the City will allow the selected consultant to provide the Certificate of Insurance at a later date if awarded the contract.
