About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Angelo State University (ASU), a member of the Texas Tech University System, seeking proposals for Pest Elimination and Control Services. ASU is requesting proposals from vendors to provide comprehensive pest control services across its campus facilities, including all university-owned buildings, residences, athletic facilities, and remote locations. The RFP outlines the mandatory and preferred scope of services, such as regularly scheduled treatments, special considerations for sensitive areas, and additional services like animal removal. Proposals are due by January 16, 2024, and a mandatory pre-proposal campus tour and discussion is scheduled for December 18, 2023. ASU intends to award a five-year contract starting September 1, 2024.
The RFP provides detailed pricing forms for vendors to propose base treatment costs per building, as well as optional pricing for value-added services like bed bug treatment and animal relocation. ASU will evaluate proposals based on factors including pricing, experience, service approach, and HUB (Historically Underutilized Business) status. The university reserves the right to award to multiple vendors and to modify or terminate the contract as needed.
