Questions & Answers
Questions:
1. Do you want a total of 4 filter replacements on the indicated systems (1 for each PM and 2 additional for a total of 4)?
• As noted in the solicitation and Attachment B, all units will have filter changes during the Spring and Winter PM, if additional filter changes are needed throughout the year (quarterly) then the bid form notes “2 Additional Filter Changes”, if a unit requires additional filter changes in addition to quarterly then it is noted as “2 Additional Filter Changes”.
• Some units will not require a filter change at all, some will only have a filter change during the PMs, some units will have filter changes quarterly, and some units will have filter changes every 2 months.
2. How should we go about determining the exact size, Merv rating, and other variables for the filters? Is there a current list or a building engineer/tech we can ask?
• There is not a master list of filters currently being used that can be provided. Utilize industry standards on the filters for each of these units.
3. Do you guys want PM on any exhaust fans?
• If there is a space provided on Attachment B to provide pricing for the PM for the exhaust fan, then yes.
4. Related to the above question, some units on the schedule that do not have $ symbols on the PM space, does that indicate to skip those rates or do you still want us to include the PM price on those units?
• Unless there is a N/A in the space then pricing is being requested.
5. Also related to the above question, some units are missing model numbers like the fan coil units by Price Industries, do you still want us to include a PM price on that?
• Provide pricing for the units listed on Attachment B, unless there is a N/A in the provided space.
