The University is requesting qualifications from architect/engineer firms to characterize the geology and hydrogeology beneath UT Austin's Main Campus, consolidate existing subsurface data into a web-based GIS geodatabase, develop predesign processes to identify problematic subsurface conditions, and evaluate alternative beneficial uses for groundwater. The study addresses historical groundwater intrusion issues in campus buildings and utility infrastructure.
