About this file

This is a Specifications & Cost Sheet for RFP 2025-05-001 issued by CommUnityCare in Texas for the procurement of ultrasound equipment and related services. CommUnityCare is seeking to purchase two cart-based ultrasound systems, three handheld ultrasound systems, and one additional cart-based ultrasound system designated for the OB/Women's Health clinic. The cart-based systems should be equivalent to the TE7 Max specifications and include features such as sealed disinfectant-resistant interfaces, large 21.5-inch HD vertical displays with adjustable trolleys, support for multiple transducer types (linear, curved, and phased array), standard imaging modes (B-mode, Color Doppler, Power/Directional PDI, PW Doppler, and M-mode/Color M-mode), advanced modes including CW Doppler and Extended FOV, AI/Smart tools, needle guidance capabilities, 256 GB SSD storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, and approximately two hours of battery life. The handheld ultrasound systems should feature cordless dual-headed probes with mobile app capabilities for iOS and Android, IP67 ingress protection with military-standard drop testing, linear transducers at 3-12 MHz with 8 cm depth capability, curved transducers at 2-5 MHz with 24 cm depth, and a probe weight of approximately 205 grams. The OB/Women's Health cart-based system requires specific GE Healthcare equipment including the Voluson S10 system with C15RS and IC9RS probes, wireless network adapter, and network printer components.

All proposed equipment must include DICOM Store/Print/Worklist connectivity with documented cybersecurity artifacts (SBOM/MDS2), Epic integration capability, touchscreen functionality, advanced user management with role-based access and audit trails, and comprehensive training including applications training and super-user sessions with job aids and cleaning instructions. Vendors must provide detailed responses addressing warranty terms and extended warranty options, preventative and advanced maintenance task documentation, service contract options (vendor or third-party), spare parts availability, software and hardware upgrade availability, network requirements, wireless access specifications, software license terms, operating system details, estimated equipment lifespan, physical and overall device dimensions, and accessory options. The specifications document requires vendors to confirm compliance with all requirements, provide pricing for equipment, associated software, installation, configuration, training, and preventative maintenance and repair services, and address regulatory certifications, MSDS reviews, DICOM conformance statements, and operation and maintenance manuals as applicable.
