About this file
This is a vendor information exhibit for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Online Bid Room, providing guidance on how vendors can submit solicitation responses electronically through the DPS's designated platform. The document outlines the submission process for vendors interested in responding to state solicitation opportunities in Texas. While the exhibit does not specify particular products, services, quantities, response dates, or contract terms, it establishes the procedural framework through which all vendor submissions must be made for DPS solicitations.
Vendors must complete a two-step registration process to access the DPS Online Bid Room platform, with registration taking up to two business days to receive login credentials. All solicitation responses must be submitted in accordance with the specific requirements outlined in each individual solicitation package by the stated response due date, with late submissions not accepted. The document emphasizes that use of the DPS Online Bid Room is optional and does not exempt vendors from adhering to all terms and conditions of the solicitation package. Technical difficulties or issues with the online submission system do not constitute grounds for protesting a contract award. Vendors are directed to access supporting resources including the Vendor User Guide, Frequently Asked Questions, and the Online Bid Room Vendor Tutorial to facilitate successful navigation and submission of responses.
